It’s 2020, and the world has just shut down. I don’t have to get up to bring my youngest to school. I don’t have to go to work. I have no idea what’s happening. At the same time, my 11-year relationship comes to an abrupt and unexpected end. I’m devastated.
I keep seeing these silly little videos people are sharing on Facebook from TikTok. Eventually, I cave and download the app. I figure I might as well entertain myself—and maybe even make some cringy videos to embarrass my kids. But the universe had a different plan. I quickly landed on Spiritual/WitchTok, and I was instantly drawn in.
Sometimes I feel silly telling people that TikTok inspired my spiritual awakening, but it’s the honest truth. Not long after, I bought my first tarot deck. (Yes, you can buy your own cards—you don’t need to be gifted them. That’s just a myth.) At first, I had no intention of reading at a professional level. I was simply fascinated by tarot and wanted to use it as a tool for my own spiritual and healing journey.
Once again, the universe had different plans.
After a year of studying, researching, and practicing, I realized I wanted to help others through tarot. I’ve always been the “therapist” of my family and friend group—maybe it’s an eldest-sister thing. During my awakening journey, I also discovered that I’m an empath, which has become my strongest gift and the way I connect with my clients.
Now, I’m an intuitive reader. I don’t consider myself a psychic or a medium—those aren’t the services I offer. Instead, I use my empathic abilities along with tarot and oracle cards to provide guidance, clarity, insight, and a deeper understanding of personal situations.
